Myoarts Therapeutic Massage

Myoarts Therapeutic Massage Specialized massage with focus on chronic conditions, injuries and balancing of musculature for peak physical performance. No knot left behind!

We believe you can have it all:
Feeling awesome during your massage today and feeling great for days and even weeks as a result of your massage! About our work
We combine thorough deep tissue massage with a low pain approach in order to help overcome chronic pain and to aid injury recovery, or just to help you chill out and relax. Tension Patterns
We don’t just press where it hurts - we trace the tension patterns through the entire body from head to toes to get to the source of the problem. That’s why our standard sessions are between 90 and 120 minutes long. It takes that long for a thorough unwinding of the tension patterns. For over 20 years, we have developed and fine tuned our massage method, called Kinesiossage, and our exercise program, called The Intrinsacore Method. With all our work we aim to balance the musculature in our client’s bodies through massage and/or intelligent training using The Intrinsacore Method for the maintenance of a healthy body and to achieve peak physical condition. Education
Most of our clients appreciate very much, that in addition to giving high quality body work, we teach them about their bodies and help them understand what’s “normal” and how they can tune their musculature to it’s optimum for vibrant energy and well-being. All our massages are tailored to your needs. Reviews

Tad Howard has a lifelong passion for exercise and for testing and stretching his limits. This passion as well as a keen interest in helping people has led him on the path that he is still following today. During his work as a medical massage therapist and as a personal trainer Tad observed the effects of both massage and exercise on numerous conditions of the body. Based on his experience, Tad developed an exercise method called The Intrinsacore Method and a massage method called Kiniesiossage with the aim of helping people to achieve and maintain optimum physical condition. Tad has worked as a corpsman (medic) in the NAVY, then studied massage therapy at both the Desert Institute of the Healing Arts in Tucson, AZ and in Thailand, followed by a study in Exercise and Physiology at McHenry County College in McHenry, IL. He extended his knowledge in the range of movement in the human body further by studying yoga, Pilates and martial arts. Helgrit Howard loves helping people. She is a practitioner of holistic therapies, an environmentalist and a fitness enthusiast. She studied Holistic Therapies at Leeds Central College of Natural Health and Beauty, UK and Massage Therapy at U.S. Career Institute in Fort Collins, Colorado. She has a degree in Engineering Materials from Technische Universität Dresden, Germany and a Ph.D. from Bardford University, UK. Helgrit has always been fascinated by the inner workings of nature, especially with regards to the human body and mind. One of her main areas of research is the study of connections between physical and mental health and overall well being. It was therefore a great pleasure and inspiration for her to work with Tad Howard on developing his concepts of The Intrinsacore Method and Kinesiossage. She is the founder of the I love Trees movement, which focuses on global reforestation through grassroots movements.

Tensegrity is how many aspects of our body interact with each other. Muscles and bones, fascia, ligaments and tendons all together create a structure that is both strong and flexible at the same time.

This is an example of tensional integrity, or tensegrity if you prefer.

If a structure using tensegrity is well designed, the result won’t be wobbly. It can actually be quite strong and stable.
