Soo I drove clear to Hays just for the lobbyist to NOT show up! Ugh and it was a packed house! Did get some things answered from AMTA board member tho. Soo if you have any questions about the proposed bill then just ask! It's being proposed in January and if all goes well then the next step is May at the Capitol which I've gone before and its a very interesting process.

I'm slow here but I know some people have attended a meeting to discuss possible changes and what we can do ahead of time to prepare for regualtions if they are put into place! Anyway the next opportunity to attend a meeting is this coming Monday the 18th at 6pm in hays! I am attending soo if anyone wants to car pool just let me know.

There are some things that you can do NOW to benefit you IF or WHEN we become regualted! Any comments or suggestions please speak up in the end we are into this together to help others!

As everyone should know Kansas is one of 4 states that is not regualted in the US. The Kansas Chapter of AMTA is proposing a bill for KS to be regualted and this is not the only time but honestly from what I've read and understand on the bill its more promising then last ones. I personally have been to the capitol to promote previous bill which basically did not go thru for many reason but mostly ks is broke to form a massage board. Soo I will post the actual proposed bill in a separate post but heres is the email I got from the ks chapter about meetings to help explain the proposed bill. I have emaield them already and there are some dates being worked on in wichita in November. When i get that info then i will pass on as well!
