How many hours do you spend in front of a screen each day? There are some simple things you can do to ease digital eye strain including making some ergonomic adjustments to your work station; position your computer monitor roughly arm's length away from your eyes, adjust brightness to match surrounding lighting, minimize glare from windows or indoor lights, increase font size, consider blue-light-blocking lenses or specialized computer lenses, use the 20-20-20 rule, make a conscious effort to blink frequently, and if your eyes do feel a little dry, use a lubricating eye drop and/or warm compress throughout the day as needed. As always, regular eye exams are important for keeping vision crisp and clear, and your eyes healthy for a lifetime.
