Have you ever called to make an appointment with a doctor, dentist, fix your car, banker etc, and their response is…….I guess we can squeeze you in.

I don’t know about you, but I hang up feeling lower than a pregnant ant! 🐜

❓❓❓❓❓❓ Now what…..❓❓❓❓❓

The major holidays are over. The New Year is 5 days in. What now?? Resolutions have already been broken and some still in play.

Clearances have begun in the stores. Tax and CPA have calls coming in for us to get taxes done.

We are looking forward to Spring. The next holiday to speak will be Memorial Day. Seems so far away but yet it will come before we know it!

Where are we at and what now?
We carry on! We love. We encourage. We eat. We enjoy all things. We are thankful for all things.

What better fun they had at New Years Eve. Tasty snacks, loads of fun with reindeer games, whites elephant gift exchange, trivia and on and on and on!!!!!

As I sit here in the wee hours of the morning, my mind is racing of all kinds of thoughts. Mainly about what 2026 will bring.

When I was a little girl, I couldn’t even imagine a date that has 2026 in it. And here I am just days away!

I think about the people who learned they have cancer. I think about people who are watching someone fight for their life. I think about those who have lost a loved one or have gone through their first year of loosing someone. I think about those who have welcomed a new life in to this world. I think about those who have held their first grandchild or great grandchild. I think about those who received a job promotion. I think about peace and healing. I think about joy and laughter.

Where does your mind go? One thing that stands secure, is Residence 600. A place you can always find comfort and joy. A place called home.🏡

Are you feeling it?
This Christmas will be so different for me. I am not going to go in to details, but I look at my decorated tree and my thoughts are thankful for that tree. For behind the tree, is a cross. Two very monumental holidays. Now….the Reason for the Season and later to celebrate redemption.

I hope you stop from all the frenzy and take a moment to breathe.
