On Veterans Day, we honor the strength, courage, and dedication of those who have served in the Armed Forces. We extend our sincere gratitude to all Veterans and their families. 🇺🇸

We also recognize that service can affect mental health in ways that aren’t always visible. If you or a loved one needs support, call 988 and press 1 or text 838255 to reach the Veterans Crisis Line or contact CKMHC at 785-823-6322. 💚

It’s easy to get caught up in schoolwork and activities—here’s a gentle reminder to check in with your kiddos! 💬

Stress, homework, and changing routines can affect their mental wellness more than we notice. A quick check-in can make a big difference:
🟩 Ask open-ended questions: “What was the hardest part of your day?”
🟩 Notice changes in sleep, mood, or behavior.
🟩 Encourage healthy routines and small breaks.
🟩 Remind them it’s okay to feel stressed or frustrated.

If you or your child could use extra support, give us a call at 785-823-6322 💚

Last week, our staff brought the creativity and the fun for Halloween Spirit Week! From Falling for Fall coziness to Kansas Pride creativity, we saw some amazing state spirit. Decade Day took us traveling through time, and Dynamic Duos reminded us that everything’s better together. We wrapped it all up with classic Halloween flair! 🎃

Here are just a few glimpses of our staff enjoying the week!📸
