Salina Regional Orthopedic & Sports Medicine is now offering Shockwave Therapy, a new service designed to help patients with stress fractures, bone injuries, joint problems, tendinopathies and plantar fasciitis.This non-surgical treatment uses low-energy sound and pressure waves to stimulate the body’s natural healing response and reduce pain in musculoskeletal injuries.

Kevin Klug, MD, Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Physician, explains how Shockwave Therapy supports and accelerates the body’s ability to heal itself.

The PULSE is sponsored by Salina Regional Health Center and airs every Monday from 11 a.m. to noon on KSN as part of Good Day Kansas.
