A hospitality home in Salina, KS for loved ones of patients at Salina Regional Health Center, & the Tammy Walker Cancer Center who live outside of Salina.

The Rebecca A. Morrison House is owned by the Salina Regional Health Foundation. Alongside beds and private rooms in a secure environment, guests of the Rebecca A. Morrison House are provided linens, toiletries, laundry soap, breakfast foods and fully equipped kitchens if they would like to purchase food to prepare meals. Two dining rooms and living areas are favorite gathering places for guests to watch TV, work on a puzzle and enjoy a cup of coffee. There are 14 rooms available, which are assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis. Nine of the rooms are handicapped-accessible with their own private handicapped-accessible bathrooms. A $10 key deposit is required at the time of registration, however there is no daily charge for staying at the Morrison House. Donations are encouraged and gratefully accepted to maintain continued operation of the home. Morrison House is conveniently located adjacent to Salina Regional Health Center, making for a short walk to the main south entrance of the facility. Parking is available on the Morrison House grounds and a security officer may be requested by dialing “0” on the provided phones. There is a phone in each guest room which may be used for local calls and long-distance credit card calls. The Morrison House also has two computers available where guests may check their e-mail and search the Internet. Mail may be addressed: (Guest Name) In care of the Rebecca A. Who is Rebecca A. Morrison? Rebecca A. Morrison or “Becky” as she is better known to her many friends, devoted a lifetime of service to our community hospital. Her devoted accomplishments include:
• Served 36 years on the Asbury Hospital/Salina Regional Health Center Board of Trustees
• Served 11 years as Asbury Hospital Foundation Board of Trustees Chair
• The only person to be named as a Trustee Emeritus to Salina Regional Health Center Board of Trustees
• Served 17 years on the Asbury Hospital Foundation/Salina Regional Health Foundation Board of trustees
• Served 2 years as Asbury Hospital board of trustees Chair
• Charter Member of the Asbury Hospital Service Auxiliary/Salina Regional Health Center Service Auxiliary starting in 1960
The Foundation is pleased to recognize Mrs. Morrison for her years of dedication to helping others by naming this “home-away-from-home” in her honor.

A big thank you to the incredible Project SEARCH interns who helped assemble hundreds of treats for the Salina Regional Health Foundation Employee Giving Campaign! Their hard work helped us share appreciation with employees across our organization — and we are so grateful for their support!

For those who may not be familiar, Project SEARCH is an internship program for young adults (ages 18–21) with disabilities, offered through Central Kansas Cooperative in Education and USD 305 Salina Public Schools in partnership with Salina Regional Health Center. The program helps participants build valuable workplace and soft skills with the goal of gaining meaningful employment.

During Catholic Schools Week, we had the joy of welcoming a group of 6th-grade students from St. Mary's Grade School to Rebecca A. Morrison House. 💙 The students toured the house to learn more about this important resource and how Morrison House supports families during some of their most challenging moments.

They also came with incredibly generous hearts — collecting and donating much-needed supplies for our guests, including toilet paper and bar soap.

Thank you to these students, their families, and teachers for your kindness, curiosity, and compassion! We’re so grateful you chose to learn about — and support — Morrison House in such a meaningful way!

💙 During Catholic Schools Week, we were so grateful to welcome students from Sacred Heart Jr-Sr High School who spent the day serving at Rebecca A. Morrison House.

From housecleaning and tidying to outdoor snow removal and sidewalk clearing, these students jumped in wherever help was needed — and made a real difference for the families staying with us.

What makes this even more special? Sacred Heart students have been coming to the Rebecca A. Morrison House to serve for 13 years! Their continued commitment is a beautiful example of faith in action and the power of showing up for others, year after year.
