Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Travis Rump was recognized for performing his 1,000th Robotic Total Joint Arthroplasty! The Mako robotic-arm assisted surgery system increases the level of patient-specific implant alignment and positioning by using a patient-specific 3-D plan before performing joint replacement surgery.

Chronic Care Management is a Medicare program designed to support individuals living with two or more chronic health conditions that are expected to last at least a year and require ongoing medical care. The goal is to give patients more support between office visits so they can stay healthier and avoid complications.

In this episode of The PULSE, Megan Espeseth, BSN, Chronic Care Management Nurse with Heartland Health Care Clinic in Abilene, explains the importance of chronic care and the services provided to support patients in managing their conditions.

The PULSE is presented by Salina Regional Health Center and airs every Monday from 11 a.m. to noon on KSN as part of Good Day Kansas.

Salina Regional Surgical Associates welcomes our new general surgeon, Dr. Megan Welborn! Dr. Welborn performs a comprehensive range of procedures, including laparoscopic and robotic surgery for gallbladder, colorectal, and hernia conditions. Her expertise includes diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy and colonoscopy, as well as breast surgery, thyroid and parathyroid surgery. We’re proud to have Dr. Welborn joining Drs.
