I know a lot of my FB friends are therapists (or work with therapists) so wanted to share here that I will be offering a 3 day Accelerated Resolution Training (ART) in Salina this coming June 21-23.

If you are looking for a time efficient way to help clients resolve present-day symptoms rooted in prior unresolved pain and trauma, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is an evidence-based practice that can do it in as little as 1-5 sessions.

It’s made a huge difference for my clients; they don’t even have to talk about what happened to them to get healing. Doing ART has also been a game changer for me in reducing my own therapist burnout and vicarious trauma!

Training participants will receive 21 CEUs for completing the training and will walk away with all the skills and tools needed to start using ART the following week. Cost is $1400 if you work for a nonprofit and $1600 for those in private practice or for profit businesses. To register, just go to the link listed below.

I started this page after beginning a psychotherapy (more commonly called “counseling”) private practice. Since that time, I took a full time job working as a mental health and relationship therapist at Central Kansas Mental Health Center in Salina. Working in a community mental health center is very different than private practice in that I have endless opportunity to work with people of every walk of life, mental health struggle and relationship challenge. As a result, I am learning so much and am humbled by the privilege of this experience.

As my own understanding of life, love, spirit, relationship, truth and transformational change expands, I will use this now publicly accessible page to pass on to others wisdom I find share-worthy. In a sentence, the purpose of this page will be to encourage, inspire, and possibly even provoke subscribers in their journey of seeking healing, peace and joy. Some content will be from others and some content may be original thoughts of my own. I will always acknowledge original sources when known.

Very excited to share that last Monday I started my first day on the job as Crisis/Outpatient Therapist for Central Kansas Mental Health Center (CKMHC) in Salina. As a result, I am no longer accepting new clients thru One Life Therapy, LLC.
