Dear Community,

We are thrilled to announce the California Department of Public Health’s (CDPH’s) 2025 Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Week campaign: 'Nutrition as Prevention'. This initiative aims to empower parents and caregivers to provide healthy meals and snacks, when possible, by emphasizing the role a well-balanced diet plays in safeguarding children and their families from lead exposure.
