Salisbury, MD — Coastal Hospice is deeply honored to have been named Non-Profit Organization of the Year at the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce / Salisbury, MD (SACC) Annual Awards Luncheon, held at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center.
Coastal Hospice President & CEO, Ann Lovely, accepted the award on behalf of the organization’s dedicated staff, volunteers, and board members, whose compassion and commitment make the mission of Coastal Hospice possible every day.

We are in need of handmade blankets and quilts that are a variety of colors for the Holiday season or patriotic colors of red, white, and blue. We are also accepting knitted or crocheted squares that our sewing group will make into quilts! All donations are greatly appreciated!

As a member of the national “We Honor Veterans” program, Veterans who come into our care receive a special visit to honor them, along with a personalized certificate and a patriotic blanket donated by the community.

We were honored to spend time with veterans at Berlin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center yesterday, celebrating their service and dedication. Each veteran was recognized with a certificate and a heartfelt address shared with patients and their families on behalf of our staff.

Special thanks to the Berlin American Legion Post #123 Boggs Disharoon for joining us in this meaningful tribute. 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙
