Poinsettias delivered, teddy bears shared, songs sung, and hearts warmed—the Coastal Hospice Holiday Run was another joyful success! 🎄🎶🌺✨

With the help of our incredible volunteers and dedicated staff, beautiful poinsettias were delivered to patients at home and our two inpatient locations: Coastal Hospice at the Lake and the Macky and Pam Stansell House. Teddy bears were also delivered to patients where they call home, assisted living communities, and skilled nursing facilities, bringing comfort and smiles to so many.

This year brought an extra dose of holiday magic as volunteers and staff filled the halls and patient rooms at Coastal Hospice at the Lake and the Macky and Pam Stansell House with the sound of caroling, spreading peace, joy, and connection through music and song.

We are deeply grateful for the unwavering support of our community and the compassion of our volunteers. Serving patients and families throughout Dorchester, Somerset, Wicomico, and Worcester counties is truly a blessing, and it brings us great joy to share moments of comfort, connection, and holiday cheer during this special season.

Join Coastal Hospice for a free 6-week beginner crochet course, designed to support those who are grieving the loss of a loved one or who wish to give back to the community by creating handmade items for our patients. This small, supportive class will be led by Coastal Hospice Volunteer Pam Wood, who has partnered with Rachel Gulley, our Coastal Hospice Bereavement Coordinator.

Class size is limited to 8 participants.

🤠🎄Our last parade of the season was a boot-scootin’ good time at the Salisbury Maryland Jaycees 79th Annual Christmas Parade, “Holly Jolly Hoedown!” We are so grateful for the love and support from our community, our incredible team members, and our dedicated volunteers.

We’re honored to continue fulfilling the Coastal Hospice mission — promoting dignity and quality of life for patients and families facing life-limiting conditions. Thank you for standing with us, celebrating with us, and supporting the work we’re privileged to do.
