💕 The Road Back to SMILE
Supporting Emmy & Maggie as we raise $4,000 to return in February 2026

We’re at SMILE Therapy for Kids in Burlington, ON right now, and Emmy & Maggie begin another intensive tomorrow morning! 💖 The therapy they receive here is vital to their growth, development, and health. They love being here — and we’re so grateful to share this with another CASK family who truly understands.

But the cost is big: 🚗 travel, 🏡 housing, 💪 therapy. We save where we can (like sharing a home), but each trip still requires significant support.

✨ This year’s all-new design honors many of the things Emmy & Maggie have in common: a love for flamingos, music, and the water, g-tubes and avocados as the base of their nutrition and health, and the CASK gene itself. The back celebrates the character traits both girls — and so many kids with CASK — embody.

Our goal: $4,000 to cover housing + deposits so we can leave this trip knowing our home and therapy spots are secured for February 2026. 💕

We are 2 weeks away from Maggie’s 4th intensive therapy with SMILE Therapy for Kids in Burlington Ontario! To help cover the expenses of this trip we are hosting a Sip and Paint night 🍷🎨 Join us for an evening of fun, creativity, snacks, and drinks! We are hosting this event on September 5th from 7pm-9pm and 6th from 4pm-7pm. Each evening has 30 seats available! This event includes a tote bag with a pre drawn design for you to paint (or blank if you’re feeling super artsy), art supplies, and a charcuterie spread. Feel free to bring whatever beverage you fancy! So share, gather a good group of friends, and join us for a fabulous evening!! Please reach out to me or Monique to let us know which night you are signing up for and what your tote design choice is! We hope to see you there!! 💖💖💖

If you are unable to attend, we also have a shipping option! For $25 you will get a tote of your choice shipped to you with all supplies needed to create your custom tote bag!

Hello friends!! Since tomorrow is CASK Gene Awareness Day, I wanted to go ahead and share a fundraiser that we are doing to benefit for this year’s Make a Splash for CASK! This is a preorder sale that goes until August 3rd! All orders will be ready to ship by August 10th. Shipping is only available in the US for $6. I can do local meet up/pick up. ALL PROCEEDS will go to benefit Project CASK is a non-profit that is driving breakthroughs for treatment and a cure for CASK Gene Disorders. I’m sure many of you have seen articles about a child in the US that became the first child treated with gene therapy. Without rare disease non-profits, this type of treatment isn’t possible. Without funding for Project CASK, Maggie has little hope of ever finding treatment. ❤️
