We would like to address a recent Facebook post containing inaccurate information regarding Chesapeake Health Care, our PRAPARE screening tool, and a patient being detained at our facility. None of the information or claims contained in that post are factual. Before sharing information publicly, it's important that facts are verified to avoid confusion, panic or harm.
PRAPARE is a national standardized patient risk assessment tool designed to address social drivers of health. It is utilized by our staff to help link patients with other needs that may impact their holistic health. All information we collect is protected by HIPAA. We value our patient's physical and data security.
