James “Jim” Frederick Carper, Sr., 86, of Hebron, MD passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Jim was the son of the late Bright M. Carper and Dorothea V. Carper. Jim was born in McLean, VA and raised on his family’s dairy farm.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, with family visitation at 10am and service at 11am at Rockawalkin Church, 6777 Rockawalkin Road, Hebron, MD 21830. Rev. Steve Hands will officiate. Food and fellowship immediately following at the Elks Lodge 817, 401 Church Hill Ave, Salisbury, MD.
In lieu of flowers, you may donate in Jim's memory to West Salisbury Little League, PO Box 2102, Salisbury, MD 21802, or to Rockawalkin Church, 6777 Rockawalkin Rd, Hebron, MD 21830.

Born February 25,1932 she was the daughter of the late Calvin Leroy Glass and Goldie Esteil Browning Glass. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 21,2026 at 11am at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury where friends may visit one hour prior to the service.

Duane was born on July 27th, 1978, to Norman Frederick Shores and Joann Shores of Salisbury, MD.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday Feb. 10th , 2026 at 12pm at Powellville United Methodist Church on 35606 Mount Hermon Rd Pittsville MD.

Paul Blake was born on September 30, 1953, and peacefully went to be with the Lord on January 29, 2026. He was home surrounded by his family and the love of his family abroad. Paul was born in Christchurch Hampshire England to Evelyn and Thomas Blake. He attended school at Southbroom Secondary Modern School in Devizes. At the age of 15 ½ he joined the Royal Navy as a boy seaman. By age 18, as a young Leading Seaman, he was specially selected to serve aboard Her Majesty’s Royal Yacht Britannia. Paul’s naval career was exemplary. He was promoted to Warrant Officer Master at Arms, becoming the youngest person to achieve the rank at the time. (JOSSMAN)
A celebration of Paul’s life will be held at Nelson’s Church at a later date.

Born November 29, 1934, in Orange, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Pieter and Mary Sherriff Vanderwolk. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 10 am at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Rev. Fred Duncan with officiate.

James “Jimmy” Allen Willey, Jr., 55, of Parsonsburg passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at Tidal Health. Born December 18, 1970, he was the son of James Allen Willey, Sr. and Deborah Shockley Fields.
Jimmy was a United States Marine Veteran and a Martial Arts Instructor. He was also a volunteer firefighter at Parsonsburg Fire Department and FEMA.
A graveside service with military honors will be held Tuesday at 11am at Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron. Pastor Buzz Gregory will officiate.

Gary Lee Trader, “Big Daddy,” age 74, of Salisbury, Maryland, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2026.
Born on December 24, 1951, in Snow Hill, Maryland, Gary was the son of Joseph and Doris Trader. On December 11, 1970, he married the love of his life, Brenda A. Stigall, and together they recently celebrated 55 years of marriage. A memorial service will be held on February 7, 2026, at 2:00 PM at God’s Missionary Church, 29436 Connelly Mill Rd, Delmar, MD 21875. In place of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to God’s Missionary Church in honor of Big Daddy.

Barbara Kelley Mariner, 86, of Salisbury passed away Sunday, January 25, 2026 at Delmar Villas. Born July 5, 1939, in Swedesboro, NJ she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Dorothy Parker Kelley. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Francis de Sales Catholic Church on Riverside Drive in Salisbury. Interment will follow in Wicomico Memorial Park. Friends may visit Bounds Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 6pm- 8pm with prayers at 7:30.

Born on July 6, 1947, he was the son of the late Alfred “Pogie” and Dorothy (White) Reddish. A Celebration of Life will be held at Green Hill Country Club on February 8, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the 4Ocean Foundation or Coastal Hospice. In keeping with his wishes, the family will lay him to rest at sea at a later date.

Founded as Hill and Johnson Funeral Home in 1877, Bounds Funeral Home in Salisbury, Maryland, upholds a tradition of integrity, compassion and excellent service that generations of families on the Delmarva Peninsula rely on. We moved to our present location in 1935. The attractive 2-story brick building was the 1st custom-designed funeral home on the Eastern Shore.
