James “Jim” Paul Marble, 86, of Siloam in Salisbury, MD passed away Saturday, January 10, 2026. Born May 6, 1939, on the Northside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late Paul and Sarah Marble he later attended Kramer Junior and Anacostia High Schools in Washington, DC. His strength, wisdom, conversation, and friendship will be missed by all that knew him.
A funeral service will be held Friday, January 16, 2026, at 1pm at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Siloam Cemetery.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 18th at 4:30 p.m. at First United Pentecostal Church, 214 Maple Way, Salisbury, MD 21804 followed by a reception. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be one hour prior to the celebration. Rev. Janice Hathaway will be officiating.

Wayne “Portie” Morris Davenport, 87, of Salisbury passed away peacefully Monday, December 22, 2025 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake. Born September 28, 1938 he was the son of the late Erman and Katherine Davenport. A Celebration of Life will be held at a Zion Church of Salisbury, 31104 Zion Road, Salisbury, MD 21804 on January 3, 2026 at 11am with visitation from 10-11am. A private interment will be at a later date. Pastor Drew Christian will officiate.

Alvin Lloyd Bromley, 73, of Snow Hill passed away Sunday, November 23, 2025, at Coastal Hospice at the Lake. Born May 12, 1952, in Salisbury he was the son of the late Lloyd and Shirley M. Bromley. A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11am at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Pastor Derelk Brown and Pastor David H. Thompson will officiate. Interment with military honors will follow in Springhill Memory Gardens.

Founded as Hill and Johnson Funeral Home in 1877, Bounds Funeral Home in Salisbury, Maryland, upholds a tradition of integrity, compassion and excellent service that generations of families on the Delmarva Peninsula rely on. We moved to our present location in 1935. The attractive 2-story brick building was the 1st custom-designed funeral home on the Eastern Shore.
