Shirley P. Hudson, 95, of Salisbury passed away Monday, March 30, 2026, at Harrison House in Snow Hill. Born May 12, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Elwood J. and Anna D. Parsons. A private family graveside service will be held at Mariners Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Ocean View, Delaware.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Shirley to the Wicomico County Humane Society, 5130 Citation Drive, Salisbury, MD 21804.

It is with sadness Bounds Funeral Home shares the passing of our long-time employee Linda C. Bounds. Linda Carol Hooper Bounds, 79, of Salisbury passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, March 23. Born April 7, 1946, in Salisbury, MD, she was the daughter of the late William Allen Hooper, Jr. and Florence Cox Hooper. A Celebration of Linda’s Life will be held Saturday, April 4, 2026, at 11am at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Her friend and coworker Pastor Ernie Bailey will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Linda to your local American Cancer Society Relay for Life. Linda was a two-time breast cancer survivor and looked forward to walking in the Relay for Life event every year with her family.

Born June 27, 1939 she grew up in Eloment, NY and was the daughter of the late Robert and Gertrude Eckert. A graveside funeral service will be held Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 11am at Pittsville Cemetery. Pastor Amy Willey will officiate. Verona Mae Moreash Parsons, 89, of Salisbury went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at her home.
Born November 20, 1936, in Groton, Connecticut she was the daughter of the late Raymond E. Moreash Sr. and Daisy Eccleston Moreash Dean.
Following cremation, Verona will be laid to rest with her husband in the Maryland Veterans Cemetery Eastern Shore in Hurlock. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank everyone at Coastal Hospice for their extreme care and kindness to our loved ones and family.

Arliene June Miller, 77, of Salisbury, Maryland passed away peacefully Sunday, March 8, 2026, surrounded by her family at Coastal Hospice by the Lake. Born in Salisbury, Maryland on May 15, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Gladys Shrieves Marshall and Arley H. Cecil. Funeral services to celebrate Arliene’s life will be held Monday, March 16, 2026, at 1pm at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury. Interment will follow Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron, Maryland. Visitation from 12pm-1pm on Monday will be held at the funeral home.

Honoring Helene’s wishes, there will be no public memorial.

Founded as Hill and Johnson Funeral Home in 1877, Bounds Funeral Home in Salisbury, Maryland, upholds a tradition of integrity, compassion and excellent service that generations of families on the Delmarva Peninsula rely on. We moved to our present location in 1935. The attractive 2-story brick building was the 1st custom-designed funeral home on the Eastern Shore.
