💙💛 National FFA Convention — Final Day Recap! 💛💙

Saturday started bright and early as we headed to Lucas Oil Stadium to save seats for the American Degree Ceremony. We were so proud to cheer on our collegiate members, Maddie Linneman and Cale Kothe, as they received their American FFA Degrees! 🌟

Less than 1% of all FFA members earn this honor each year. The American FFA Degree is the highest level of achievement an FFA member can receive, awarded to a select group who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to the organization and outstanding accomplishments in their Supervised Agricultural Experiences (SAEs).

After the ceremony, we grabbed lunch and visited the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum while waiting for Gracie to wrap up her final National FFA Band commitments. Once she finished, we picked her up downtown and began the journey back home to Missouri.

After a long drive (and a few pit stops!), we finally made it back to Salisbury — tired but grateful for an unforgettable week filled with memories, laughter, and experiences we’ll never forget. 💫

A huge thank you to our Salisbury FFA Alumni, parents, and all the supporters who made this incredible trip possible! 💙

✨ National FFA Convention — Day 3 & 4 Recap! ✨

Thursday started with a delicious homemade breakfast at our Airbnb before we headed to the Expo Center! Members explored college booths, checked out tons of ag businesses, and did a little shopping at the FFA store. In the afternoon, we took part in National Days of Service, walking through downtown Indianapolis to White River State Park to help remove invasive honeysuckle and pick up trash. After a few hours of hard work, we ended the day with a bonfire back at the Airbnb — complete with hot dogs, s’mores, and lots of laughs! 🔥🌭

Friday was a slower start (and well deserved!). We enjoyed brunch together before heading to the rodeo to watch bronc riding, bull riding, and some amazing trick riding. Later, we made one more stop at the Expo and FFA store before cheering on Gracie as she performed with the National FFA Band! 💙🎶 We wrapped up the trip with supper downtown and some time to pack up and reflect on a great trip.

Day 2 National FFA Convention 💙

Day 2 was packed with great experiences! We left Louisville early morning and enjoyed the drive through beautiful fall scenery and riverfront views.

After crossing into Indiana, we stopped at Clifty Falls State Park for a short hike before grabbing lunch at Chick-fil-A and heading to the Opening Session of the National FFA Convention.

We finished the evening at the Ernest and Ella Langley concert, singing along and enjoying the show.

A long day, but a great one for the Salisbury FFA Chapter!

Wishing Gracie Billue the best of luck as she performs with the National FFA Band this week!

She’s 11th chair and so excited about the songs they’re playing. She said the director is amazing and full of energy!

Gracie’s also enjoying meeting her roommates from all over the U.S. — one of them is the 9th chair clarinet from Omaha who’s even traveled to Europe for band!

We’re so proud of you, Gracie! Go shine and make memories that will last a lifetime! 💛

🌟 Day 1 of the 2025 National FFA Convention is in the books!

What a day of unexpected adventures! Our plans to visit the Louisville Slugger Museum changed when we found ourselves in standstill traffic for several hours due to a semi accident. Thankfully, everyone involved was safe and our crew made the best of the situation with plenty of laughs (and a few muddy adventures while finding a “rest stop” in the great outdoors!

Once traffic cleared, we spent some time exploring downtown Louisville — checking out antique shops and enjoying the city sights. Dinner was a hit with some great food and fun competition at Topgolf!

We finally made it to the hotel for a little swimming and some well-deserved rest.

Next stop: Indianapolis! Stay tuned for more Salisbury FFA adventures from Convention 2025!

1960's! In this decade, agriculture saw an increase in the use of combines, chemical fertilizers, and high-yield seeds. With the start of the Green Revolution, this time period shaped how technologies would continue to develop.
