🐰 Bunny Hop! 🌷

Springtime has arrived in the hive, and the little bees are ready to hop, wiggle, and explore. Join us for Bunny Hop, a playful Honey Child gathering where toddlers and their grownups celebrate the season through movement, sensory play, and hands-on springtime fun.

Together, our tiny bees will:
• Hop and wiggle through bunny-inspired movement games
• Build their very own Bunny Bestie to take home
• Create a simple bunny-themed craft
• Practice early social play with other Wild Little Bees in the hive

Honey Child gatherings are gentle, joyful spaces where children can explore at their own pace while caregivers discover simple ways to nurture connection, curiosity, and confidence at home.

So come ready to hop, giggle, and welcome spring with the hive. 🐰🌷🐝

Due to growing interest in our youth programs, I’ve opened a few additional seats in our After-School Art Lessons at Cypress Moon Art, Visual & Performing Arts Studio.

Students attend two afternoons per week in one of our small studio groups:

Session 1: Monday & Tuesday
Session 2: Wednesday & Thursday

These small studio groups are intentionally kept intimate so each young artist receives personal guidance while exploring painting, mixed media, and creative techniques.

Friday open studio

Free Art Friday allows enrolled students to hang out in the studio to create freely using a variety of art supplies in a relaxed, inspiring environment.

Because these groups stay intentionally small, only a handful of seats are available.

🎭This Saturday, “Drama for Good”, this interactive workshop introduces the idea that theater can entertain and teach at the same time. By the end of the workshop, students will create and perform short theater pieces, Senator around their idea of what a better world would look like. Workshop  facilitated by Lynn Streeter, children’s founding, artistic director of building better people productions.

In partnership with Kennard African American Cultural Heritage Center, Mu Omicron Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho, Sorority, Inc., Maryland State Arts Council and the Maryland Center of Excellence on Problem Gambling.

Our Wild Little Bees are getting a little lucky this week 💚

Honey Child is bringing all the festive fun with Shamrocks & Shenanigans — a St. Paddy’s inspired group filled with:

🍀 Music + movement
🌈 Rainbow process art
💚 Sensory surprises
✨ Playful toddler “shenanigans”
🐝 Co-regulation, connection, and rhythm woven into it all

This is structured play for growing nervous systems.
Not a sit-still class.
Not a free-for-all.

Just developmentally-aligned fun for busy little bodies (18 months–4 years) and the grownups who love them.

✨ Friday Session: March 13. 2026 from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.
✨ The Saturday Session — for families who can’t make Friday: March 14, 2026, 9-10 a.m.
