If you or someone you know needs help securing safe, affordable housing on the Eastern Shore, now is the time to apply.

The Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development is opening the Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) Program waiting list for the Eastern Shore from:

📅 April 1 – April 30, 2026
⏰ 9:00 AM on April 1 through 5:00 PM on April 30

Residents in the following areas are eligible to apply:
Caroline, Dorchester, Kent, Somerset, Talbot, Wicomico, Worcester, and the Town of Elkton.
