Mission:

To redefine the diagnosis and management of atrial fibrillation through a unique interdisciplinary program of basic and clinical research focused on the understanding, diagnosis, and clinical treatment of atrial fibrillation. Vision:

The CARMA Center works as a uniquely multifaceted and comprehensive program, collaborating with research partners to further develop the technology, research, and clinical management for the advancement of world-class medical treatment of atrial arrhythmias. Values:

Research: The Atrial Fibrillation Program will lead the initiative in overcoming major obstacles of the evaluation and successful treatment and management of atrial fibrillation. Teaching: Sharing technological creations and discoveries with academic partners, students, residents, fellows, and physicians will improve arrhythmia management techniques. Partnership: Collaboration with other disciplines is integral to success, combining knowledge and expertise for forward advancement in diagnosis and treatment of atrial fibrillation.
