Born on March 17th, 1921, Noma Kjar proudly served in the Women’s Army Corps during the Second World War. After settling in Centerville, UT, in 1945, she became an educator and taught first graders for over 22 years. A proud patriot and a mother to five, she was named Centerville Mother of the Year in 2007.
