Hello GSI Community,
A few final words from the Guild for Structural Integration as we wrap things up. We’d like to begin by appreciating the many folks who reached out with kind words of support, memories, and appreciation during this time of change.
The opportunity DIRI has offered GSI basic training graduates can be found HERE. The application for DIRI membership opens June 1, 2023, and runs through December 31, 2023. If you choose to apply for membership, keep in mind that a picture of your basic training certificate is sufficient for the application purposes (and much easier and free for you). In addition, DIRI will contact the Guild directly upon completion of your membership application to request your standing with GSI, this is not something you need to request.
In the event that you require your GSI transcripts in the future, an online record request through Colorado Closed School Transcripts for students completing their basic training January 1991 through September 2009 can be found here:

https://highered.colorado.gov/DPOS/Payments/Transcript_Request.aspx
GSI graduates that completed their basic training October 2009-November 2022 can find information to request transcripts here:

https://dcp.utah.gov/closed-school-transcripts/ (now available)
The Guild for Structural Integration’s archived library will be stewarded by GSI graduate and practitioner, Felix Tatarovich, in the Anatomy and Bodywork Library housed in Moab UT. You can contact Felix by text or phone at 801-513-3549 for more information. In addition, donations for this project are welcome.
We are still currently working to make some additional audio and video resources available to the community. GSI will contact IASI with the resource location information and post details on the GSI homepage once this has been finalized.
Though this closing process has been lengthy, we feel we’ve taken the correct steps to leave our students as supported as possible.
We are in deep gratitude to the students, teachers, faculty, administrators, donors, board members and Structural Integration community who have supported GSI throughout our 33 years. All of you have played a role in the making of the GSI legacy. Thank you.
We wish you all the best.
Warmly,
Guild for Structural Integration Board of Directors

As we prepare to present Sharon Wheeler’s ScarWork
class “Integrating Scar Tissue into the Fascial Web” I
am in awe of people’s wide-ranging experiences in their
bodies. In this class, we host multiple “model clinics” for
people in the community to receive work. I am reviewing
the list of models and the scars that they are bringing to
the class. So many of these types of scars and
situations have been in my practice. Previous class
experiences confirm that the models will walk away
with benefit for having been a part of the class
experience. Here are some examples of the scars that the students
will be working with:
C-section scars
Hip and knee replacement scars
Lumpectomy, mastectomy and radiation scars
Heart transplant scars
Various shoulder surgery scars
Cosmetic surgery scars
Lumbar and neck fusion scars
Burn scars
The class is next weekend October 7-9 at the Guild for
Structural Integration. There is availability for a few more clinic models who will receive this work for free in the class.
We have room for two more students as well.
