We are so grateful to Cub Scout Pack 3038 - Salt Lake City, Utah for volunteering at the JFS Food Pantry! The Scouts jumped right in—assembling winter comfort kits, hygiene kits, and grocery bags for our community. Their enthusiasm, curiosity, and kindness were inspiring. We’re honored to help teach young leaders that they can make a real difference.
Thank you again, Pack 3038! We truly appreciate your support and look forward to welcoming you back.

We’re excited to share that Enbridge has awarded us a Fueling Futures grant! We’re grateful for partners like Enbridge who are committed to making a positive and lasting impact in our community.
Grants allow JFS to provide mental health counseling, food assistance, older adult programming, and emergency financial assistance to individuals and families who otherwise couldn’t afford them.
We also extend our heartfelt thanks to all our grantors whose ongoing support strengthens our work year-round. See the full list here: https://jfsutah.org/donors/foundation-government-in-kind/

So thankful to volunteers from the Morgan Stanley office for coming in twice this month to help out in our Alex & Sally Lebwohl Food Pantry! They created baking essentials kits, which include flour, sugar, oil, baking powder and a premade baking mix. They also helped pack bags for the clients coming in to get food from the pantry.
Like many food pantries across the state and the nation, we are seeing greater numbers of people coming to our pantry. We are so grateful to volunteers like these who helping out their community at such a crucial time of need.

Thanks to the incredible kindness of our community, the Alex & Sally Lebwohl Food Pantry at JFS received generous donations of freshly baked bread, potatoes, and fresh chilis this week from caring individuals. We also received a great donation of dog food for clients with furry friends. 🐾

We are beyond grateful to everyone who continues to support our work. Your donations of food and funds make it possible for us to assist anyone facing food insecurity.

If you’d like to volunteer or donate, please visit jfsutah.org. Thank you for making a difference! 💛

Approximately 426,000 Utah residents provide unpaid caregiving services to family members and friends. The vast majority of Utah caregivers are unpaid (97%) and have not received caregiving support from the state or county (91%), yet 42% indicate that financial support through a government caregiver program would be helpful (Utah Caregiving Perspectives Survey, April 2024).

Jewish Family Service provides support to caregivers, especially those caring for loved ones with dementia. We also offer caregiver support groups, Respite Care Assistance, Dementia-Friendly Activities, Gleeful Choir, Music & Memory programs, and much more. The JFS team is excited for Live PC Give PC tomorrow! Funds raised through Live PC Give PC on November 7 will make a significant impact in the lives of those we serve - a family struggling with food insecurity, an individual in need of financial assistance to stay in their home, or a caregiver looking for support and guidance.

Early giving has already begun—visit our page to make a donation of any amount: livepcgivepc.org/organization/Jewishfamilyservice. Every dollar counts!

Thanks to the generous support of Michele & Gary Carr and Andrea & Jeff Silver, WE HAVE TWO MATCHES! All donations up to $20,000 will be matched dollar-for-dollar. This is a wonderful opportunity to double your impact and show your support for Jewish Family Service and the Park City community. Thank you in advance for your generosity!

JFS is seeing increased demand at our food pantry as the ongoing federal government shutdown disrupts SNAP (food stamp) benefits nationwide. While limited contingency funding has been announced, widespread uncertainty continues— meaning that, at best, delays will leave many Utah families without essential support for weeks.

We remain committed to helping those affected and providing nutritious food to anyone in need. Thank you to everyone who has donated in recent weeks to help!
