Q: As a massage therapist, how should you prepare your client for a massage?

A:
1. Knock before entering the room, awaiting for the client's response. This is to make sure the client is ready and all set on the table. Confirm the type of massage you'll be performing and the length of the whole session.

2. Communicate with your client to check for preferences. Before performing the actual massage, ask the client for specific areas wished to be addressed: check for discomforts, pain points, etc. Remember to ask your client for any medical conditions that you should know so you can assess for a workaround.
