🎤Utah Annual Conference -𝐆𝐔𝐄𝐒𝐓 𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐄𝐑

🪁Jennifer Rigby DNP, APRN, FNP-C 💉

Dr. Jennifer Rigby is from Mapleton, Utah. She has experience working in a variety of nursing roles including telemetry, home health, private care, medical/surgical, and hospice. For the last 10 years she has found her passion in emergency nursing.

She currently practices as a Family Nurse Practitioner as an urgent care provider. She is passionate about nursing education and completed her DNP at Weber State University. She joined the faculty team at BYU in 2024 and currently teaches pediatrics in the undergraduate program. Her research focuses on addressing health disparities, social determinates of health, and nursing education. She believes that education is the key to providing excellent patient care and is passionate about inspiring lifelong learning in her patients and students.

Jeanne is a flight nurse for the University of Utah Airmed . She started her nursing career in the emergency department after graduating with her MSN degree from Rush University in Chicago, IL.

With experience in Community ED, Level 1 Trauma ED, Pediatric ICU, and Adult Surgical/Trauma ICU, she now cares for patients in the air medical transport environment with AirMed. Jeanne is passionate about accessible education and enjoys attending and presenting at conferences nationwide. Outside of work, she enjoys mountain biking, hiking, and exploring her new(ish) state of Utah.

“Christy Davis is a dedicated Youth Education Manager and K-9 Handler at Our Rescue, where she develops educational programs focused on the prevention and awareness of trafficking. She has educated students from elementary to high school on the dangers of online exploitation and trafficking and has spoken at schools, conferences, and across various industries around the U.S.

Christy made history as the world’s first internationally certified 📱 💻 Electronic Storage Detection (ESD) K-9 Handler, executing search warrants in Mexico and Thailand that led to numerous arrests and helped child victims begin their healing journey. She is also certified in Recognize, Respond, and Report Victims of Human Trafficking through Reclaim 611.org”

We are excited to share some upcoming education opportunities being offered!

April 10th CEN Review-Start the first day off by attending the Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) review course in the Thanksgiving Point- Water Tower Plaza- Rose Room. Brought to you by Solheim Enterprises

April 11th Full Day-Conference- -Continue the second day April 11th by attending the full day conference for an exciting in-person event at the Thanksgiving Point - Ashton Garden's- Garden Room

This year, we have introduced several new initiatives to make these events even more accessible and impactful:

We’re offering a special rate for facility managers who wish to send their teams to the conference (April 11th). This discounted rate is available to all staff, whether they are current ENA members or not, in an effort to broaden access to quality education.
