Cherry basket something or other (I really need to remember the names!). I’ve been out for a month, and boy did I notice. Detraining in the body happens quickly, in some ways more than others. My grip strength was there but not confidently. My endurance was enough but barely. My inverts were doable but not skillfully. What showed up best for me? My brain! Movement patterns were stuck like glue and while my physical body had a challenging time performing, my brain knew where I needed to go before I needed to do so. Neuro training is crucial will skill acquisition; it’s not only about strength and power all the time.
I love my aerial family and have missed laughing (and cussing) with them. Human to human: be yourself and your people will find you, even if it takes longer than expected. Hopefully now back to our [mostly] regularly scheduled programming!
