No. Mississippi is quite clear about possession of medical cannabis, with lots of limitations:
• No person can possess more than 28 MMCEUs per month, which is equivalent to ~98 grams of cannabis flower, 28,000 mg THC in cannabis concentrate, or 28,000 mg THC in edibles. Patients and caregivers may transport up to this amount.
• There are no possession limits for nonconsumable items, like ointments, lotions, and soaps.
• Medical cannabis must be transported in its original, factory-sealed packaging. Cannabis must remain out of sight for the duration of the transport. Consuming cannabis in a vehicle is prohibited.
• Consuming medical cannabis is forbidden in public places.
• Unless specifically authorized, patients may not possess or use cannabis in a correctional facility.
And of course, medical cannabis should *never* be used around children, pets, or anyone sensitive to the smoke and/or vapors created. And obviously, remember that it is unlawful to share your cannabis products. For more information, visit the Mississippi Medical Ma*****na Association at https://www.3mams.org/health.
