Southwest Virginia Community Health Systems, Inc. Comprehensive & Quality Healthcare

Primary Care; Pediatric Care; Behavioral Health Services; Dentist Public Health Service.

SVCHS is a member of the Virginia Primary Care Association and is a JCAHO accredited institution. SVCHS is governed by a community board and our clinics are not-for-profit Community Health Centers. There are almost 3,500 similar centers nationwide, with 65 serving Virginia. SVCHS is a fee-for-service practice just like any doctor's office. To assist the center in providing access to medical, behavioral health, and dental care to all residents regardless of income, SVCHS receives an annual grant from the U.S. Being a community-based organization, we extend an invitation to you and your family to use our facility. We also welcome any input on how we can better serve you.

New Day Recovery in Bristol recently accepted donations for patients to pick out toys for their children’s Christmas gifts. Also, a little library was created for free books for adults and children, which also includes educational books, story books, and novels. Additionally, a clothes closet is fully stocked to help those in need! Today, groups are involved in basic cooking techniques, personal hygiene, grocery shopping & budgeting, food planning and proper clean up. The end result was a wonderful Christmas dinner prepared for our patients!
