WANT TO KEEP YOUR TAX DOLLARS LOCAL?

The Rural Hospital Investment Tax Credit donation portal is live! If you are an Alabama business or resident paying Alabama Income Tax, you are able to allocate your tax dollars to support the hospitals that support our rural communities. By allocating personal or business Alabama tax dollars through the Rural Hospital Investment Tax Credit program, you will receive a dollar-for-dollar match on your state tax refunds.

1. Log into https://myalabamataxes.alabama.gov/tap/_/
2. In the Individual or Business Income Tax box, select “Manage tax incentives”
3. In the Rural Hospital Investment Tax Credit box, select “Reserve a Rural Hospital Investment Tax Credit Donation”
4. Select “Next” to verify your account
5. Enter your contact information and select “Next”
6. Select the button for “Eligible Rural Hospital” and select “Next”
7. Use the filter search bar to find Wiregrass Medical Center, or go all the way to the end of the list to find Wiregrass Medical Center (page 5)
8. Enter your donation amount where the 0.00 are on the far right side for Wiregrass Medical Center, then select “Next” and “Submit”
