I've been moonlighting as a songwriter again and having the time of my life!
I've been using an Ai songwriting app and DistroKid to distribute the music all over the world. It's really amazing!
I write all the lyrics, back-up vocals and song structure, (like Bernie Taupin), I choose the genre and vibe and allow songer.co to create the music (like Elton John) and it's really like a box of chocolates...you never know what you're gonna get! If the music fits into the pocket of the lyrical phrasing and I dig it, I accept it and voila, a new song is born. If it doesn't catch the vibe of how I've written the lyrics to live and breathe, it's back to the drawing board!
So far, I'm pretty satisfied.
Some songs were written 20 years ago and I did nothing with them. They were kept on the dusty shelf of my mind...until Songer came around and I got curious.
I now have created 4 different artists, with the latest being a lyrical challenge to write a song in a different language (Spanish). (Thank fully, I know people to help with this)
These are the things I do as I age. Lol.
I call it "using my Ai powers for good."
As Amy Grant said, " it's not a song, til it touches your heart." I hope, as I've always strived before, to write songs to encourage people to a deeper relationship with God and each other. I hope the songs do just that, or get your feet moving in a good direction...like dancing in the kitchen with your loved one. 😉❤️
