🎉 Happy Long-Term Care Administrator’s Week! 🎉

This week, we proudly celebrate Sheila Chambers, Administrator at Avir at Meadow Creek.

Sheila brings an incredible depth of experience to our community, with 20 years in skilled nursing and long-term care and over 20 years in acute and psychiatric care. Her passion for serving seniors was inspired by her grandmother, who cared for elderly and ill neighbors in a warm, home-like environment in San Angelo. That early inspiration helped shape Sheila’s lifelong commitment to compassionate care.

Sheila holds a Bachelor of Science from Angelo State University and a Master of Science in Gerontology from Abilene Christian University. In her role, she is dedicated to implementing programs that enhance both the quality of care and quality of life for every resident, while inspiring pride, teamwork, and excellence among staff.

Outside of work, Sheila is a proud mother of four daughters and a loving grandmother to two granddaughters and two grandsons, and she enjoys family adventures.

Thank you, Sheila, for your leadership, compassion, and commitment to doing the right thing every day for our residents and team. 💛
