This week, we had the opportunity to teach our Difficult Airway course at the Big Bend Regional EMS Symposium in Alpine, Texas.

Flight Medic Cody Jenkins led the class alongside Program Director Amanda Snodgrass, with valuable assistance from AeroCare Flight Nurse Florisela Anderson.

We had a great turnout and truly appreciated the interactive participation throughout the course. It’s always rewarding to connect with our EMS partners and continue advancing patient care together!

Tonight marks the final shift for our very own Jody Babiash, who has flown AirMed1 since 2008.

For more than 17 years, Jody has safely carried our crews across West Texas, answering the call when patients and communities needed us most. His service, knowledge & experience have made a lasting impact on our team.

Tonight, his family surprised him with a keepsake bear made from his flight suit - a reminder of the many missions and memories from his time with AirMed.

Thank you for everything, Jody. Wishing you the very best in the next adventure and we can’t wait to celebrate you soon!
