Dr. Tony Montgomery joined his brother in practice in July of 2022 and recently celebrated his one year anniversary here at Angelo Oral Surgery! He competed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, and he graduated from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. After more than a decade of being away, he is excited to be back home in the great state of Texas! Dr. Tony cares deeply for his patients and enjoys being a part of the San Angelo community. His wife Brittany (originally from Kentucky) is settling in well and loving her new home here, but she is still getting used to the Texas heat 😂🥵. Martha Martinez has been working at Angelo Oral Surgery for 44 years. In fact, she started working here before either Dr. Ryan or Dr. Tony were even born! She started working here when the building was first built and has worked with 6 different surgeons in this facility. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband Bobby, and their 2 children and 5 grandchildren. Come see this smiling face, she always brightens up the office. Busy Oral Surgery office seeking to add a full time surgical assistant to team. Looking to add a capable assistant who is eager to learn and work in a face-paced, team oriented environment.

Duties will include chair side surgical assisting, taking X-rays, room turnover, sterilization. It will begin as more of a medical assistant role and train to become a surgical assistant.

HOURS

Our office hours are typically Monday-Thursday 8-5, Friday 8:00 – Noon

SALARY:

Negotiable based on experience

401K and company match, paid vacation if certain requirements met

JOB DESCRIPTION

Consultations: Data entry, Vital Signs, Pre-op Instructions
Surgery: Comfortable assisting with
-Extractions/3rd molars
- Assisting with IV sedations
-Familiar with dental implant surgeries
- Biopsies
- Familiar with routine Maxillofacial procedures
- Sterile technique
-Competent taking Panoramic x-rays, PAs, and familiar with taking CT scans
-Able to plan for surgeries, setup, breakdown, and competent with instrument sterilization
Postop: Assisting with post-op care and instructions

Qualifications preferred but not required:
current RDA license
BLS/CPR certification
Familiar with EMR systems

A working interview will be required to ensure compatibility with team
