Sometimes a tooth just can’t be saved 🥺 or like in this case, the patient opted for removal rather than saving it. Shedding one thug tear for this little dude…😪

I always present all options to save a tooth versus removal, but ultimately the choice is up to the patient. Even after removal, there are options to replace the space.

Another successful “Now you see me. Now you don’t case”! 😍🦷 Swipe ➡️➡️➡️ to see after photos

This case is one my favorite cases of my career! What made it extra special was the sweet nature of this patient. Very easy to work on and just overall calming energy. At the age of 75, I’m glad she still went forward with correcting what she didn’t like about her smile. She had that gold placed on her tooth at the age of 15 as a child in Mexico and has hated it ever since 🥺 60 years later, it was a true honor to restore her smile to something she can be proud of. Ugh…I just loved this case so much if you can’t tell 😊

Our funny patient said all she wanted for Christmas were her two front teeth 😂 We were able to deliver ahead of schedule 😉 and delivered her bottom teeth as well for a full smile 😁

Seeing this post on stopped me in my tracks. The heaviness of the tragedy hit me again like it did 22 years ago. It’s hard to imagine it’s been that long. We all still remember where we were when the news broke out. What we were doing. The people we were around. Just like we remember that moment vividly, let us also remember all those that were lost. In their honor, we cannot and will not forget. ❤️

“I don’t like dentist check ups in general since I was a kid. I’m feeling more comfortable about dentist visits with Dr.Igun. Her and her staff are amazing and go above to make a person feel comfortable. One visit I was cold and without me saying a word the assistant brought me a blanket. The next visit to calm my nerves there was a different assistant that stayed next to me. I was afraid waiting for some type of pain as indicators but there was nothing like I expected because I didn’t notice the work had been done. This dentist is a keeper and has earned my trust.”

Another successful “Now you see me. Now you don’t case”! 😍🦷

This was particularly fun. We used Icon Resin Infiltration to remove the white and brown spots on the patient’s front two teeth. NO DRILLING. NO NUMBING needed 😯 . The patient was so happy (she teared up y’all 🥲) that she did her other front teeth on another day. Next stop is braces for this patient with an orthodontist🤩
