Your body is an emotional map.
Joy, pain, anger, fear—they all leave traces. Trauma can linger in the hips, stress in the neck, heartbreak in the chest. When you become aware of these emotional zones, you unlock powerful tools for healing and self-awareness.

During vaginal childbirth, some women may experience perineal tears, also called perineal lacerations. These tears happen as the baby stretches the birth ca**l during delivery, and they are classified into four degrees based on how deep they go.

🔹 1st Degree – Involves only the skin of the perineum and usually heals naturally or with minimal stitches.
🔹 2nd Degree – Extends into the perineal muscles and commonly requires stitches but heals well with proper care.
🔹 3rd Degree – Reaches the a**l sphincter muscles and needs careful repair and longer recovery.
🔹 4th Degree – The most severe, extending through the a**l sphincter and re**al tissue, requiring surgical repair and close follow-up.

While the topic can feel uncomfortable to talk about, understanding perineal tears helps new moms feel more prepared, less scared, and more empowered before birth. Education creates confidence.

If you’re pregnant or supporting someone who is, talk openly with your OB-GYN or midwife about how to reduce risks and how to care for healing afterward. Recovery is real, and so is support.

Share this to spread awareness and help other moms-to-be feel prepared, not fearful. 💗

🤰❤️ Understanding Placenta Positioning: What Every Mom-To-Be Should Know!

Pregnancy is a beautiful journey, but it’s also filled with medical terms that can feel overwhelming — especially when you start hearing words like marginal, partial previa, or placenta previa. This simple visual guide helps break it all down so every expecting mom can feel informed, confident, and empowered. 🌸✨

A normal placenta sits safely away from the cervix.
A marginal placenta rests close to it.
A partial placenta previa partially covers the cervix.
And placenta previa completely covers the cervical opening — a condition that needs careful monitoring, extra precautions, and guidance from your healthcare team.

If you’ve been diagnosed with any form of placenta previa, you’re NOT alone. Many moms experience it, and with proper care, monitoring, and rest, most go on to have healthy pregnancies and beautiful outcomes. 🫶💛

Knowledge is power. The more you understand your body and your pregnancy, the more confident you’ll feel during this incredible journey. Sending love and strength to all the moms preparing to welcome their little miracles! 👶✨
