The best decision you can make for the long term health of your bun is to spay her while she is young!

Do you know older male dogs experience all the same problems older humans do? Prostatic enlargement, painful urination and infected prostates. The single best and only permanent treatment for dogs to alleviate prostatic disease is removing their testicles. Because all of these syndromes are related directly to testosterone, the prostate can be managed well in most male dogs simply by neutering! Within a couple weeks, it usually reduces and symptoms resolve!

Jameson, one of our hospital kitties, demonstrating both how much he loves Rae and his genetically crossed eyes. Do you know seal point, flame point, and Siamese cats have a genetic trait that causes them to have a tendency toward crossed eyes? We think it's an endearing feature and we love it on all of them. Dr. Byrd has, what refer we to as, a Siamese problem. She must kiss every one of them on the lips so they know she adores them!
