Employee Spotlight: Maddie Kofskey, PA-C
Physician Assistant at The PREOP Center/NuHope

Since joining the team in April 2025, Maddie Kofskey, PA-C, has quickly become a valued part of The PREOP Center and NuHope family. With experience in dermatology and urgent care since 2022, she brings both clinical expertise and a compassionate heart to her work.

“I love being able to help guide and support patients through what can be a vulnerable time in their life,” Maddie says. “It’s incredibly rewarding to know that I’m making a positive impact—whether it’s preparing someone for surgery or helping them manage chronic pain.”

For Maddie, patient care is deeply personal. Her approach centers on empathy, communication, and follow-through.

“I want every patient to feel heard, understood, and comfortable. If I don’t have the answer, I’ll find someone who does.”
Working alongside a high-performing team is a daily motivation for Maddie.

“All of my coworkers are great people and excellent at their jobs, which makes it easy to come to work happy each day.”

What makes The PREOP Center and NuHope stand out to her is how seamlessly the team collaborates to deliver care that’s both efficient and heartfelt.

How The PREOP Center works for YOU:

Step 1: The PREOP Center will call you to book your appointment.

Step 2: You will meet with the entire medical care team at this appointment and discuss your procedure and clear you for your surgery.

Step 3: We will write the prescription for post-operative pain medications.

Step 4: The PREOP Center continues to follow up with your ensuring a speedy recovery and write any further pain medications that are needed.
