Maverick MRI is a trailblazing independent diagnostic testing facility (IDTF) co-founded by an MRI industry veteran who’s spent over 40 years contributing to innovations in the radiology industry. Maverick MRI’s mission is to improve patients’ lives by providing precision medical imaging in a personalized & therapeutic environment using technologies that aid in early and more accurate diagnoses; to prevent disease progression. The facility provides the community with advanced MR imaging services utilizing cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI) software to assist referring physicians and partner radiologists in identifying elusive pathologies. Maverick MRI employs these AI algorithms in their elective Preventive Screening program to early detect and/or monitor neurological conditions including: Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBIs), Alzheimer’s, Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Dementia, PTSD, stroke and orthopedic sports injuries. Maverick MRI offers these same precision imaging services to Personal Injury Lawyer clientele under a LOP. PI Attorneys and their clients can be confident that Maverick MRI will expeditiously produce diagnostic images and reports within 24 hours of the scan. The facility will be equipped with a state-of-the-art, wide-bore 3 Tesla MRI, capable of whole-body imaging on patients up to 680 pounds. Maverick MRI works tirelessly to ensure our patients will receive the safest and most comfortable imaging experience.

Meet Abraham Padua, our Chief Technology Officer and imaging Director! ⁠

Boasting over 45 years in the radiology field, Abe is an esteemed MRI physics and protocol optimization expert. During his remarkable three-decade run at Siemens Health, he innovated new methods and system applications for neuro and orthopedic MRI imaging, even co-developing a patented protocol for metal implant imaging that has become a globally recognized product.⁠

Retiring from Siemens in 2018, Abe founded an MRI consulting firm, aiding facilities and refurbishing companies in optimizing their system protocols. ⁠

As Maverick's CTO and Imaging Director, he will collaborate with United Imaging to optimize Maverick's AI-assisted MRI tools, scanner capabilities, and contribute to FDA-approved product development. Beyond this stellar background, you will see Abe actively engage with our team, personally operating the scanner and imparting the best patient safety and comfort practices.⁠
