🚢 Lifesaving Summit 2025 – Aboard the Carnival Sunshine! 🌅

We just wrapped up another incredible Lifesaving Summit — this year hosted on the Carnival Cruise Ship: Sunshine!
It was amazing reconnecting with fellow CPR professionals from last year and meeting new attendees who share the same mission.

Please help us celebrate Mrs. Elda, who was honored by for her heroic actions during lunch duty this week.

When a student began choking, Mrs. Elda immediately jumped into action. With calm, courage, and training, she performed abdominal thrusts and successfully saved a student’s life.

What makes this moment even more special is that Mrs. Elda was a student in one of our CPR & First Aid classes. Seeing her step up with confidence and use her skills in a real emergency fills us with so much pride.

We are beyond grateful for her quick thinking, her dedication, and the care she shows her students every single day. She is truly a real-life hero, and our community is safer because of her. 👏👏👏

When breathing stops, quick action can mean the difference between life and death. Mouth-to-mouth breathing provides the oxygen a person needs until advanced help arrives.

🚨How to give lifesaving breaths:🚨

🗣️ Tilt the head back and lift the chin
👃🏼Pinch the nostrils closed to keep air from escaping
👄Seal your mouth over theirs
🫁 Give 1 breath, watch for the chest to rise, then give a second
🫀Continue with chest compressions for the best chance of survival
