Are you tired of being a slave to big pharma and big food? Ask me how to get off of your meds and start spending your time, money, and energy on the root causes of your chronic "sicknesses".

Take a quick inventory. How many meds are you on for chronic disease related symptoms? How do these meds make you feel? Are they addressing the cause of the problem? We are programmed for an assumed amount of physical activity every day. When we don't get enough exercise regularly we start to hoard energy in the form of bodyfat. Our hormone production starts to change and we feel tired and anxious. Physical activity should be ENJOYABLE! Don't feel like you need to kill yourself in the gym or starve yourself at the table. Eat real food, drink lots of water, and move!

7 out of 10....yes, SEVENTY PERCENT of deaths in America are due to chronic disease!

It is SO EASY to live a healthy life! Not only are chronic lifestyle diseases preventable, many of them are REVERSIBLE!

Staying fit, healthy and well is simple. 46 years old. No crazy diets, just eating real food, hydrating and taking care of gut health. No crazy kill myself style workouts, just full body strength training and moderate intensity cardio. Are you suffering from elbow pain?

Elbow tendonitis is easily the most common overuse injury I see at the gym. While it is almost never a serious injury and usually goes away without any lasting effects, it can be extremely painful and annoying while trying to get through your workouts.

So what do you do if you are suffering from this nagging injury?

You ICE that b!$@ #

Tendonitis is described as inflammation of the tendon. There is no easier and better way to reduce inflammation and speed up the healing process than simple ice therapy.

The most effective way to go about this is a quick 10-15 minute "ice bath". This doesn't mean you have to submerge your entire body psycho, just the effected joint! 😁

If you are suffering from elbow tendonitis, simply get a bucket, fill it with ice water and let it sit for 10-15 minutes 2-3 times per day. This will help to greatly reduce inflammation and get you on the road to recovery!!! And don't worry, the first 3 minutes are the worst. Once you hit around the 3 minute mark numbness sets in and you're home free 😎

Below is a graph showing how eating UPFs, or Ultra Processed Foods can increase the likelihood of developing lifestyle related chronic diseases such as obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart disease. UPF's are also associated with an increased risk of cancer.

Ultra processed foods are packaged foods that have been made by food compaies using many manufactured ingredients, rather than actual foods. Those ingredients are combined in some way to make something that is edible, but it in no way maintains the integrity or nutritional content of the original foods.

Think most chips, boxed salty snacks, french fries, cakes, cookies, candies, ice cream, soft drinks, sweetened breakfast cereals, packaged soups, chicken nuggets, hotdogs and more.

So please, think about the heath of yourself and loved ones when choosing foods at the store.

Most of us think about the benefits of meditation from a psychological perspective. While the psychological benefits can be immense, the many physiological benefits are equally as awesome!

I have found that when I meditate every day for about 21 days in a row, I start to shed bodyfat and water weight. Several times I have ended up as much as 12 lbs lighter in just 3 weeks changing NOTHING but my meditation habits!

The response that I most often get from my clients when talking about meditation is that they "just can't do it", or "I can't turn my brain off". The thing about meditation is that the goal is not to turn your brain off, but to learn how to accept and welcome a busy brain and react to it appropriately.

While the "perfect" meditation session can feel amazing, the real benefits arise after a period of consistant meditations over weeks, months, and years.
