“Brace your core at all times.”
Sounds safe… but it might be exactly why your back keeps flaring up.

Your spine is designed to move, including flexion.
Avoiding it doesn’t protect you… it makes you more sensitive to it.

→ Strong lifters who tweak their back picking up a dumbbell

→ People afraid of positions their body should handle easily
Not because they’re weak But because they’ve never trained those positions.

When you avoid spinal flexion completely:
• You reduce your body’s tolerance to it
• You create fear around normal movement
• You actually make your back more vulnerable

Good form matters but over-restricting movement isn’t the goal.

Ever had neck pain and tightness that just won’t go away, and starts bleeding into everything you do?

That’s exactly what Cludi was dealing with before coming to Physical Therapy.

Her neck pain wasn’t just an inconvenience, it was impacting her work, her sleep, and her ability to train. And as one of the top home saleswomen in the city, being constantly distracted by pain just wasn’t sustainable.

The issue wasn’t just “tightness.” It was a combination of limited range of motion, decreased strength, and poor endurance in the neck that made it impossible to handle the demands of her day-to-day life.

If stretching worked… you wouldn’t still feel tight.

That “tight” feeling?

It’s often your body saying:

From knee pain to back in control.
Jess has been a familiar face in PT over the past couple of years, but more recently she came in dealing with knee pain that was impacting everything not just workouts, but everyday life. Stairs, squatting, kneeling… all limited.

The culprit? Her patellar tendon.
But this wasn’t a case for rest, ice, and hoping it goes away.

This was a load management problem and we treated it that way.

Instead of backing off completely, we leaned in with the right kind of movement and progressive loading to build the tendon’s capacity back up. Step by step, Jess regained tolerance to the exact things that once caused pain.

The result:
✔️ Pain-free stairs, squatting, and kneeling
✔️ Restored confidence in daily movement
✔️ Back to training and even joined

Jess didn’t just get out of pain she came back stronger, more capable, and better prepared for whatever she wants to take on next.

We’re going to miss having her in the clinic, but she’s walking away with the tools to keep progressing and stay pain free.

From pain on every run… to back at .quarry and doing what she loves again 🧡

This journey wasn’t linear.
There were days her knee hurt going up stairs.
Runs cut short.
Workouts modified.
Moments where progress felt slow.
But she stayed consistent.
Trusted the process.

And now?
She just completed the runDisney D***y Challenge at Walt Disney World 👑
48.6 miles.
4 races.
4 consecutive days.

to finishing one of the toughest endurance challenges out there.
