Serrano Ob-Gyn Associates Serrano OBGYN offers women in San Antonio personalized state-of-the-art care and the assurance of seeing the same San Antonio OBGYN doctor at every visit.

Dr. Serrano is a native Texan, who has dedicated 20 years of his life to his solo private practice in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Serrano was born in Galveston and grew up in San Antonio. He obtained his Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin in 1986 and was awarded Special Honors in Psychology for his undergraduate research work. He returned to San Antonio to attend the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where he earned his M.D. degree in 1990. He pursued four additional years of postgraduate medical training at Loma Linda University Medical Center in southern California, completing his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1994. He was Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1997 and was re-certified in 2007. He is happily married to Cristina Valencia Serrano, Ph.D. She has her own private practice in Child and Family Psychology. The Serrano’s have three wonderful children: Christian, 20; Claudia, 17; and Charles, 8, who attend San Antonio schools. Dr. Serrano has medical privileges at the Stone Oak Methodist Hospital and North Central Baptist Hospital. He performs DaVinci Robotic surgery at Stone Oak Methodist.
