During the upcoming eclipse, do not look toward the sun without special glasses. Sunglasses aren’t good enough.

When you were a kid, did you ever burn things with a magnifying glass? Your eye does the same thing—your cornea and natural lens focus the light on the retina, and looking at high energy light (the sun, lasers, etc.) will burn a permanent hole in your retina. Here are brands of glasses recommended by NASA.
