I've been getting a lot of curious questions about a certain upcoming date, and the secret is out! 🤫

Guess what?

My birthday is just around the corner on January 14th, and I thought, why not kick off the celebrations a bit early? 🥳

So, here's the plan:

On January 11th ONLY, I'm offering complimentary* chiropractic care for the entire day! Whether you're a regular or it's your first time, come on in and enjoy some care on the house.

Feel free to share this with your friends and family! 🙌

The first 10 people through the door that day will receive a special gift from yours truly. And let me tell you, it's something you can't just buy! 🎁

I've got more surprises in store, but you'll have to be there to find out. Spots are limited.

Want to reserve a spot?

Raise a hand 🤚 or reach out.

Can't wait to celebrate with all of you!
🥂 Dr. Bryant

*complimentary care does not apply to Medicare or Medicaid patients.

Sitting in the same position for prolonged periods of time can lead to muscle imbalances, poor posture, and a host of other problems. Here are a few tips on how to vary your seating position to promote good posture and reduce the risk of these issues:

🪑Choose a seating position that allows you to sit with your back muscles and core engaged and your head at a neutral angle instead of tilted downwards. Something as simple as a stool or an exercise ball can offer you a variety of seating positions and opportunities to bend and stretch that would be a great upgrade from a traditional chair.

🪑Keep your shoulders relaxed and your arms at a 90-degree angle. Avoid hunching over or leaning forward, as this can strain the neck and upper back.

🪑Take frequent breaks to stand up, stretch, and walk around. This will help you maintain good circulation and prevent muscle stiffness.

Remember to listen to your body and make adjustments as needed. If you experience any discomfort or pain while sitting, come on in so we can get your spine checked out. 👐

Back in August, our daughter came home from school super excited to show us the songs and dances she learned in class for something called “brain breaks”. It turns out the class has their day broken up into bite sized lessons with fun “brain break” activities spread throughout the day to give their minds and bodies a much needed time to reset.

According to edutopia.org “Recent research shows that our brains aren’t idle when we take breaks—they’re hard at work processing memories and helping us make sense of what we experience.

In a groundbreaking 2012 study, an fMRI scanner was used to examine neural activity during the brain’s “default mode”—a state of rest that’s usually associated with taking a break or letting our minds wander. In this state, the brain is still highly active, with a different set of regions lighting up than when we’re focused on the outside world.

Structuring your day to tackle projects and tasks in bite sized chunks with "brain breaks" in between are a great way to keep you fresh and focused. Depending on your workspace, go for a walk, do some stretches, grab a hula hoop, or just put on your favorite song and let loose for a few minutes before jumping back into your workload. 🕺🏽

Your body and mind will thank you!

Kettlebells are some of my favorite workouts. Why?

These workouts promote:

ACTIVE FLEXIBILITY and FUNCTIONAL MOVEMENT: Large range of motion movements associated with kettlebell workouts strengthen and encourage movement-based flexibility.

The more flexible you are, the less likely you are to get injured say, hoisting bags of groceries onto your kitchen counter or scooping up your kids.

Versatility: There are literally THOUSANDS of movements and workout combinations that can be down with kettlebells! Able to be used in all planes of motion, they offer total body workouts at a fraction of the price of a home gym set-up, and can be done virtually anywhere.

What’s your favorite workout?
