OFFICIAL CLOSING
I am posting today with news that most of you already know. Due to the unfavorable operating conditions during COVID, that so many small businesses have faced, we have made the decision to close our physical location. We are unfortunately not in a position, financially, to keep our doors open. The landlord refuses to make a reduction in our rent during these hard times and it has become unwise financially to continue to pay the full rent. This year has been trying for all of us and so many families have been put in unfortunate circumstances due to the current financial and political situations. I am saddened by this turn of events, but know that the good that we accomplished as a yoga family will live on in so many of you. There are not enough words to express the beauty of what I have seen over the last 7 years. I will never forget what the students and instructors have given me. It is more than I could have ever expected and has made me rich in ways that I could not have dreamed of. The beautifully imperfect and gloriously fractured thing that was The Yoga Den, was truly, truly an honor and privilege to co-create with ALL of you. I do not know what the future holds for TYD, but I hope that you will keep your eye on the horizon so that we can all come together again and resume our paths together.

We know that many of you were not able to make purchases in studio during the last two weeks of operation, due to wifi issues. We have made the 5 and 10 class pass available for purchase through the website. We have also set up a 3 class pass for those with less than 5 missing classes and you will still have the option to purchase a drop in pass for $8 if you only have 1 or 2 classes to pay for. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and hope that you will purchase your passes at your earliest convenience.

As I embark on my next adventure, I’m turning the page to a whole new life ahead.

In 2014, I stepped foot into a small community studio a few minutes from my house. I fell in love with the energy, the instructors (only 2 at the time 😅), and the COMMUNITY the students created. Within a few months a yoga teacher training popped up and timidly, I signed up. I spent most of my time within these walls for the following 6 years as I continued my student-ship as well as held my own place on the schedule. (15-17 classes a week at one point!! ☠️🤣)
A little over a year ago, Megan, the owner of The Yoga Den honored me the privilege of managing the space. (WHAT!! 🤯)
.. these past 6 years have changed in 716284 different ways, but the one that I always found myself back to was certainly this special place. It holds many transformations, emotions and creations.
Thank you for the friendships, the support and encouragement, the inspiration and so SO many lessons learned. Last time was the last time I will ever walk out of a class at the Den, as we have made the permanent decision to close this chapter of our journey. I will surely miss this place. 🕉

Adios, dear Yoga Den! So many memories, so much transformation. So sad to say goodbye. But new beginnings are on the horizon.
