Celebrating National Disability Employment Awareness Month 💙

This week, Elizabeth and I had the honor of participating in the 1K Walk at Morgan’s Wonderland, joining others in celebrating the incredible contributions of individuals with disabilities in the workforce.

We also hosted a table at the Texas Workforce job fair, where we connected with many inspiring candidates and we’re thrilled to welcome a lovely new team member to our Colonial Hills family!

Moments like these remind us why inclusion, opportunity, and community matter.

From Our Hearts to Kerrville
As a community rooted in care, we are holding the families of Kerrville, Texas close in our thoughts and prayers. The recent flooding has brought unimaginable loss, and our hearts ache for the children, families, and educators affected.

At our center, we believe in the power of compassion, connection, and collective strength. Tonight, we pause to honor those grieving, to uplift those still searching, and to support those working tirelessly in rescue and recovery.

🌟 Today, was truly a special day for the Child Development Center! We had the incredible opportunity to attend the Workforce Impact Awards and were honored to be nominated for the Childhood Champion Award. While we may not have taken home the award, I am genuinely humbled and grateful to have been included among such inspiring organizations.
