UIW Student Health & Counseling Services Health care for acute minor illnesses and injuries and personal counseling, couple issues, addiction, stress management and anxiety reduction.

The Campus Health Center provides basic health services that focus on primary prevention care, health education and counseling, care for acute minor illnesses and injuries, and the maintenance of health records and assistance with the university insurance plan. Location: We are located on the ground level of the Agnese/Sosa parking garage. The entrance to our facility is behind the Illa Faye Miller School of Nursing; there is a red awning over the entrance. Privacy Notice: We value the privacy of our students, most of whom are adults. We will not discuss their care outside of this office without their permission. Cost: There is no fee for most services available to registered students.

Counseling services are available to you, the students of the University of the Incarnate Word on an appointment basis. The ever challenging demands of growth, change, and the expanding horizons of learning are at times stressful, and often require an adjustment of attitudes and coping skills.

• Selected immunizations (Influenza, Td, TdaP, Hep B, and Meningitis)
• Physical exams (by appointment only, Wed/Thurs. only)
• TB skin tests (Mon 8a-3p & 5p-6p) (Tues 1p-6p) (Wed 8a-5p)
• Over the counter medications
• Prescriptions for medications when medically indicated

Mold allergy symptoms include sneezing; runny or stuffy nose; itchy throat or inside of ears; hives; swollen eyelids and itchy eyes; and coughing.
If congested, Allegra-D 12 hour works great... but find the allergy medication that works best for you and your body :)
