To many people are not taking the virus seriously. They are hearing what they want to about the rules and provisions that are being taken right now. Some even thinking that things are back to normal as of today, But this is not true. This has not been said yet. There is still social distancing. Even when they finally do open for the workers to go back to work, things will not be the same for a while, Social distancing will still be intact. But for now it seems that some people feel it is ok to be part of the problem, rather then the solution. The whole time this has went on my phone has been ringing more off the hook then ever. I am sure I do not have 6 foot arms ( the distance of social distancing) to be able to work safely, I care about my clients when I see them but I also care about myself. To ask me to do a Massage when you know there is a pandemic is very off the wall to me and shows a lack of concern for yourself and others including me. My thoughts are that the ones that did find places that were open it is only a matter of 14 days till they will then be infected with it for the most part.
So how will this slow down the cycle of this disease. Please know That I am not trying to be rude unless I need to be. There is no way for me to do a job that I cannot at this time. When things finally come back to a very very normal I will be back for very part time work as usual. Until then here is a link to keep you updated on the actual rules and regulations for the Virus in Bexar co and San Antonio Texas. Even when things get back to a semi normal at first or even all the way what we recall as normal, I will need to feel comfortable enough to return. You are more then welcome to call me but not ask for a massage while the restrictions are still being enforced. It would be nice if people would actually not assume what they want to hear, like a caller today who said that he thought it was all done with. Please read this site and keep posted with it and be patient. This is a scary time for touching people. If you let yourself be touched then you never know if someone else the therapist has touched has it , then you may get it and not know for about 14 plus days that you do have it. Stay safe and see you when it all is 100% clear not when normal businesses return to work but only when the distancing stops. Trust me when I say it has been hard being out of work.
