CHRISTUS Children's Foundation was established in 1955 to carry out a vision that remains today: To provide every child in South Central Texas access to the best medical care available, even if their parents cannot pay. The Children's Hospital Foundation raises critically needed funds for construction, innovative programs, equipment, research, and more, at CHRISTUS Children's, the first and only freestanding, academic children's hospital in San Antonio. Located in the heart of downtown San Antonio, CHRISTUS Children's is a part of CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Health System, a faith-based, non-profit health and wellness ministry dedicated to extending the healing ministry of Jesus Christ and providing the highest quality of medical care and services available.
