Dear friends... THIS is commUNITY. 🤩
Creating commUNITY has been my life-long goal.
The Synergy Studio floors will live on, dance on, and BE on, as River Alchemy of Creative Arts transforms into a space for everyBODY.
I am BEYOND excited to teach and train on these floors again, along with our amazing stereo system, benches, yoga mats, etc.

This line, taken from F. Scott Fitzgerald’s 1936 essay “The Crack-Up,” is spoken by an unnamed woman who appears near the end of the piece. For most of the essay, Fitzgerald paints a remorseful picture of himself as a man of little consequence, but then a mysterious woman shows up and tells him, “Listen!” She implores Fitzgerald to snap out of it, to see his own agency, and to understand that he can make his life as big or as small as he wants.

Austrian poet Rainer Maria Rilke found his resolve for a new year while standing on a rooftop. In a letter to his wife, Clara, Rilke described the first morning of 1907 as shining “from a brand-new, never used year.” He’d taken a walk the night before, observing “an earth of moonlight, of moon shadow, that keeps still while with strange meaningfulness New Year’s midnight strikes.” In a pensive mood, the author of “Letters to a Young Poet” chose to climb up above the streets of Capri, Italy, to seek a more expansive view. “I had gone back again to my little house and stood up on its roof and wanted to see a good end in all that and to find a good beginning in myself,” he wrote. Rilke’s rooftop reflection reads almost like a benediction, encouraging us to take the time to seek out new perspectives and find the “good beginning” in ourselves when faced with an “untouched” year.

We love our quarterly celebrations. They are so much fun!

*Meditation and Intention Setting
***AND, A ROCKING Drum and Dance Celebration to welcome the Spring Equinox, where the day and night are of equal length, marking the beginning of Spring!
With our quarterly drum circles, we are raising money for two non-profit organizations, Mahncke Park Community Garden and The Synergy Studio Community. Mahncke Park Community Garden will also be hosting our location this year!
We will gather at 2:00pm on Sunday, March 27, 2022, under the BIG oak tree in the garden, located at 340 Funston Ave., San Antonio, Texas, 78209
Date: Sunday, March 27, 2022
Time: 2:00 pm Location: Mahncke Park Community Garden, outside around the beautiful Live Oak Tree! 340 Funston Ave.
Cost: $20.00+ *suggested donation per person*
