A great week with 2 different events supporting Alzheimer’s Awareness. ❓Did you know about 7 million Americans and approximately 55 million people worldwide are diagnosed with Alzheimer’s? As the population continues to age, this number will rise.
Dr. Iskander’s father was a fellow ophthalmologist who truly loved his profession and genuinely cared for his patients, always striving for the best eye care. He worked as an ophthalmologist until Alzheimer’s claimed him as another victim, robbing him of his memory. Yet, we still remember him as a great father, husband, grandfather, uncle, doctor, and friend. His legacy continues in all whom he touched.

With the passing of Proposition 14, that was recently ratified at the November 4th election, more funding is coming to San Antonio for research and hopefully a cure, this is the white flower we await.
Let’s keep walking, let’s keep hoping and remembering everyone has a story, in our support to end Alzheimer’s.
