Today is the start of TMEA Region Weekend! We are SO proud of our 33 Reagan Orchestra members who earned a chair in the Region Orchestras! AND... Huge congratulations to Michelle Liu for earning the Concertmaster position, and going on to make All State!

Last night our kids performed for three adoring audiences at The Haven, The Laurels, and Indepence Hill. We do annual performances at the elder care facilities, and our kids get so much joy from bringing joy to our elder community members!

Please consider coming out to support the Reagan Fine Arts Department via the Ronald Reagan Symphony Orchestra and Reagan Choir! We will be performing our 1 hour concert program that will be presented at the Midwest International Band and Orchestra Clinic later that same week!

Program includes: Polovetsian Dances, Ohne Sorgen, Strum!, Dauntless Heroes, Angel City, Byzantine Dances, Infinitum, First Nowell, I Vow to Thee My Country, and the Theme from Elf!

Send-off concert is on Monday, 12/15 at 7 PM in the Reagan Auditorium.
Midwest performance is at 1:30 on Friday, 12/19 in W375E.

We completed our Fall Concert cycle! 5 ensembles, 2 concerts, and 18 selections! Everyone performed great programs, and showed tremendous growth! I am excited for our potential and trajectory this year!

The Reagan Orchestra is excited to host a San Antonio Chamber Music Society outreach performance event with the internationally renowned Academy of St Martin in the Fields Chamber Ensemble.

Formed in 1967 from the world-renowned Academy of St. Martin in the Fields, this elite chamber ensemble brings together some of the finest musicians in the UK. Known for their exceptional precision, warmth, and interpretative depth, the group performs a rich and varied repertoire spanning Baroque masterpieces to contemporary works. With a commitment to musical excellence and ensemble cohesion, they have toured extensively across Europe, North America, and Asia, captivating audiences with their signature clarity and vitality. The ensemble champions both established composers and new voices, continuing to evolve while honoring the Academy’s storied tradition.

Join us for a free community outreach performance by the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields Chamber Ensemble in the Reagan HS Auditorium. The event will begin with a performance of Jessie Montgomery’s Strum by the Reagan Chamber Orchestra followed by feedback from the ASMF musicians. The ASMF musicians will then perform a selection, followed by a Q&A.
